Bridging Trauma, Growth, and Transformation Through Sound and Music
Creating space for expression, connection, and renewal.
Sonic Bridges, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization advancing healing and resilience through trauma-informed music therapy and sound-based care. We create accessible pathways for regulation, creative expression, and meaningful connection for individuals and communities impacted by trauma.
Our Vision
We envision a world in which access to trauma-informed, music-centered care is not a privilege but a standard component of community and healthcare systems.
How We Bring This Vision to Life
We meet people where they are—community spaces, correctional facilities, veterans' centers, and family homes. Our work is rooted in deep listening, creative expression, and the healing potential of music.

Our signature programs bring trauma-informed music therapy and sound-based interventions into diverse community and healthcare environments.
Signature Programs
Veterans Music & Creative Recovery Initiative
Trauma-informed music therapy for veterans integrating songwriting, improvisation, and collaborative recording. Services support trauma processing, relational reconnection, and identity reconstruction within outpatient, inpatient, and community-based settings.
Justice-Impacted Arts & Resilience Program
Music therapy and collaborative recording for individuals affected by incarceration. Participants engage in structured creative processes that support emotional regulation, identity development, and community reintegration.
Community Sound & Nervous System Regulation
Trauma-informed sound-based regulation sessions designed to support emotional grounding, stress reduction, and nervous system stabilization. Offered in partnership with healthcare providers, community centers, and public health initiatives.
Home & Community Music Project (HCMP)
Originally developed within New York City's home-based and community waiver system, this structured 12-week program provides individualized music therapy for children and adolescents with complex behavioral and mental health needs. Delivered in home and community settings, the model emphasizes family involvement, coping skill development, and identity strengthening through collaborative music-making.
Through a six-phase process — orientation, assessment, lyric writing, composition, recording, and closure — participants build coping skills, process emotion, and strengthen identity through collaborative music-making in the settings where daily life unfolds.
Community Health Partnerships & Pilot Programs
Sonic Bridges collaborates with healthcare systems, municipalities, and community organizations to design trauma-informed music and sound-based programs aligned with local behavioral health needs. Initiatives may include caregiver support groups, aging population engagement, youth resilience programs, and community-based regulation workshops.

Your support makes it possible to bring evidence-informed creative care into homes, healthcare settings, community centers, and justice-impacted spaces — expanding access to healing where it is most needed.
